1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Freedom Airline Express services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Booking and Reservations
2.1 Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email or WhatsApp message with your booking reference.
2.2 Payment: Full payment must be received before tickets are issued. We accept various payment methods as communicated during the booking process.
2.3 Pricing: All prices are quoted in USD and are subject to change without notice until booking is confirmed and paid.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1 Free Cancellation: Bookings can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of booking, provided the departure date is at least 7 days away.
3.2 Cancellation Fees: Cancellations made after 24 hours are subject to the following fees:
- More than 7 days before departure: 25% cancellation fee
- 3-7 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee
- Less than 3 days before departure: 75% cancellation fee
- No-show: No refund
3.3 Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
4. Changes to Bookings
4.1 Date Changes: Changes to travel dates are subject to availability and may incur a change fee of $50 plus any fare difference.
4.2 Name Changes: Minor corrections to passenger names are free. Complete name changes are not permitted and require cancellation and rebooking.
5. Passenger Responsibilities
5.1 Travel Documents: Passengers are responsible for ensuring they have valid travel documents including passports, visas, and health certificates as required.
5.2 Check-in: Passengers must check in at least 2 hours before departure for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights.
5.3 Conduct: Passengers must comply with all safety instructions and behave appropriately. We reserve the right to refuse carriage to passengers who pose a safety or security risk.
6. Baggage
6.1 Allowance: Standard baggage allowance is 1 carry-on (7kg) and 1 checked bag (23kg). Additional baggage can be purchased.
6.2 Liability: We are liable for lost or damaged baggage up to the limits specified in international conventions. Valuable items should be carried in hand luggage.
6.3 Prohibited Items: Passengers must not carry prohibited items as specified in our baggage policy and aviation regulations.
7. Flight Delays and Cancellations
7.1 Our Responsibility: We will make reasonable efforts to operate flights as scheduled. However, we are not liable for delays or cancellations due to weather, air traffic control, security issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.
7.2 Rebooking: In case of flight cancellation by us, passengers will be offered rebooking on the next available flight or a full refund.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited as specified in the Montreal Convention and other applicable international conventions. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Special Assistance
Passengers requiring special assistance must inform us at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special needs, subject to safety and operational constraints.
10. Data Protection
We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Your data will be used for booking purposes and may be shared with relevant authorities as required by law.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
